Contragnorance
From Latin contra (“against”) + gnārus (“knowing”)
n. (ˈkɒntrəˌɡnəɹəns)

1. A state of not merely lacking information, but rather believing in information that is false, out of context, or otherwise misleading. Easily confused with "knowledge." Worse than "ignorance."
